Mode of Action and uses
Chloridazon is a pyridazinone selective systemic herbicide rapidly absorbed by the roots and translocated acropetally to all plant parts.
It is used in pre- and post-emergence control of annual broad-leaved weeds in sugar beet, fooder beet, beetroot, onion, etc.
Chloridazon acts as photosynthetic electron transport inhibitor at the photosystem II receptor site.
